Arogya Lakshmi Scheme 2023: The Government of Telangana state is providing health assistance to pregnant and lactating women through Arogya Lakshmi Scheme.
The government is strengthening the women and children in the state by providing Malnutritional meals.
Children below the age of 6 and all pregnant and lactating women will get milk, eggs, rice and other nutritious meals from the nearest Anganwadi.

What Is Arogya Lakshmi Scheme
This is a state-sponsored scheme to provide healthy meals for women and children. The Telangana government started this scheme with a pilot project in 2013.
They have implemented this 100% in all over the state from 1 January 2015 to watch its good impact. All registered women are getting 1 egg per day, 200 ml milk per day and receiving Dal, leafy vegetables, rice and other nutritious food for at least 25 days in one month.
These meals are providing up to 40% to 45% energy which is required for a lactating and pregnant woman.

How To Apply For Arohya Lakshmi Scheme 2023
Pregnant and lactating women can apply for this scheme. The application procedure is offline. You can enroll yourself through these simple steps:
- Visit the nearest Anganwadi Centre of Telangana state and contact Anganwadi Worker.
- She will provide you with an offline application form and ask you to fill.
- Fill in your personal details in the application form such as name, and contact details.
- Attach all the important documents with the form and submit them to the AWWs.
- The worker will verify your candidature and enter your data in her records.
- Records will be sent to the related office where employees also verify the details.
- After completion of all the documentation, they will allow your candidature for providing benefits under the scheme.
All the Anganwadi Workers also have instructions to collect the data of their area. So, they can also contact you in your home accordingly, to enter your name in the beneficiary list.
