Pradhan Mantri eVidya | One Nation One Digital Platform | Diksha QR Code e-Content | Learn How
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an unexpected public health emergency in the years 2020-21, affecting almost all governments and territories around the world.
The pandemic has caused major difficulties in daily life, including closing schools.
It has an impact on over 240 million school-aged children in our country. School closures for an extended period of time may lead to a loss of learning.
Therefore the educational department of India has taken several initiatives for these difficulties.
The government has launched various online courses, TV channels, radio, podcasts, etc to overcome.
Here in this post, we will see one of the initiatives about PM eVidya 2022 online learning platform TV channel for classes 1 to 12.
And we also know How to learn and take lectures/ online courses from our TV using Diksha QR Code e-Content.
12 PM eVidya DTH TV Channels
To offset the pandemic’s impact, schools will need to not only remodel and re-imagine how teaching and learning have been done in the past.
But also develop a proper approach of delivering excellent education through a reasonable balance of schooling at home and learning at school.
The Educational Department has taken many steps to ensure that school-aged children do not fall behind in their academics as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
And one of them is a comprehensive initiative for using technology with equity, called Pradhan Mantri eVIDYA, which has been launched as part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Programme.
Which coordinates all initiatives linked to digital/online/on-air education to offer multi-mode access to education.
You may think that all educational content is available completely for free on YouTube then why eVidya program runs on TV.
But many kids across the country do not have an internet connection. Swayam Prabha DTH channel will be launched to impart education to all of those pupils.
Under this strategy, the government would also launch 12 other comparable channels. A Diksha portal, which has included e-content and QR code printed books for all classes, has also been deployed.
SUMMARY The PM eVidya initiative is providing 12 TV channels for classes 1 to 12. So that students can learn all subjects direct from their TVs.
ONE CLASS, ONE TV CHANNEL
One of PM eVidya’s key initiatives is the creation of 12 eVidya TV Channels based on the One Class-One Channel model for classes 1 to 12 to broadcast educational programming relevant to those classes.
The 12 eVidya DTH channels are especially beneficial to students in rural locations where reliable internet access is unavailable.
These stations broadcast curriculum-based educational programming created by NCERT and other organizations such as CBSE, KVS, NIOS, Rotary, and others.
Both Hindi and English have been used to create the video content. These video clips are accompanied by QR codes that, when scanned with the DIKSHA mobile app, direct viewers to the same content on the DIKSHA web.
SUMMARY Every class of students from 1 to 12 are getting individual eVidya Channel. The content is available for both Hindi and English Medium. These videos has accompined with QR codes, that is scanned with DIKSHA mobile application.

The majority of these radio shows are produced in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
