BOATs stands for Board Of Apprenticeship Training.

For the proper execution of the NATS, four boards are in place in Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

Boards Work

1. To evaluate the establishments in terms of the entirety of available training facilities and total strength, as well as to locate seats for apprenticeship training.

2. To ensure and provide training facilities for fresh technical school graduates at various enterprises in the private and public sectors/corporations.

3. Prepare training programmes in cooperation with the training institutions that will be participating.

4. From time to time, monitor, check, and supervise the various training facilities given by the establishments.

5.To pay the stipendiary share to the employers for the stipends paid to apprentices by the employers.

6.Apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeship course will get a Certificate of Proficiency(COP).

The Latest Update In NATS Registration 2023

Apprenticeship training is provided to students pursuing technical courses through the National Apprenticeship Scheme.

Now, under this program, the government is going to make a significant adjustment. Students studying non-technical topics will now be able to take advantage of the NATS program as well.

A final cabinet note on this amendment has been drafted by the government and forwarded to the Cabinet Secretariat.

This modification will last from 2021-22 to 2025-26. In this regard, an inter-ministerial meeting was held, and the final note was given to the cabinet secretariat for review.

This amendment will provide educational training to graduates, technicians, and degree apprentices.

Eligibility Criteria For NATS Apprenticeship & Registration

• Your age must be at least 16 years to enroll for an apprenticeship.
• You must have a graduate degree/diploma certificate in your technician field.
