PM Awas Yojana 2024 West Bengal
PM Awas Yojana Gramin West Bengal 2024 is a government scheme in which financial assistance is provided to build permanent houses for homeless people.
This assistance is provided by the Central Government to poor families living in rural areas.
The amount allocation after modification in the benefit provided to the families recognized in the scheme is as per location type:
- 1.2 lakh is provided to the eligible family having plain area.
- Rs 1.3 lakh is provided to families in hilly areas.
This amount of Rs 1,20,000 is given in three equal installments. Rs 40,000 is given in every installment.
PMAYG pucca house is constructed in approximately 45-60 days. Therefore, the government provides this installment in your account every month.
Along with financial assistance, the beneficiary is also provided the facility of 90 days of employment under MNREGA, which is approximately equal to Rs 18000.
A toilet is also constructed for the construction of the house, for which Rs 12000 is also given.
