RCH stands for Reproductive and Child Health. And for this purpose the tracking system is necessary. And therefore NHM has developed a portal for it.

This is an augmented version of the Mother and Child Tracking System (MCTS).

The portal main objective is to use IT to ensure that pregnant women and children up to age 5 receive a comprehensive range of healthcare and immunization services.

The RCH Portal collects data from village and urban Nurses (specifically ANM Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) of every pregnant woman in India.

And the government uses this data for early identification and tracking of the individual beneficiary throughout the reproductive lifecycle of women.

It helps the government for the following purpose:

  • Promote, monitor, and support the reproductive
  • Maternal, new-born and child health (RMNCH) schemes/program delivery
  • And reporting

RCH Portal Registration 2023

To get any maternity benefit, the woman must have to register on RCH Portal. But a woman/pregnant does not have to concern about it more.

Because the work of RCH Registration is done by Village Health Nurses (VHN) and Urban Health Nurses (UHN).

Every VHN and UHN has a unique ANW ID using which they register in the portal and then register mother and child.

Also, citizens can Self Registration for pregnant women and children but they must have ANM and ANM Mobile numbers to complete the Hierarchy.

In the below section, we will walk you through the complete guide on how to RCH Registration.

RCH Portal Data Entry 2023 For Women & Child

The RCH Data Entry is an essential component of the RCH Portal, which is used to gather, manage, and analyze health-related data.

The RCH Data Entry module has a wide range of reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health indicators which help in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCH).

Some examples of the types of data recorded in RCH Data Entry include:

  • Personal information: The module records the personal information of beneficiaries, such as name, age, gender, contact information, and other demographic details.
  • Pregnancy-related information: The module records pregnancy-related data, such as gestational age, expected date of delivery, number of pregnancies, complications during pregnancy, and outcome of delivery.
  • Childbirth-related information: The module records data related to childbirth, such as the mode of delivery, birth weight, and the presence of any complications during childbirth.
  • Immunization data: The module records data related to the immunization status of beneficiaries, including the date and type of vaccines administered.
  • Nutritional data: The module records data related to the nutritional status of beneficiaries, such as weight, height, and body mass index (BMI).
  • Health facility-related data: The module records data related to the health facility where the beneficiary is receiving care, including the name of the facility, its location, and the type of services provided.

By collecting and analyzing such comprehensive data, the RCH Data Entry provides critical insights into the health needs and status of beneficiaries.

And in turn, it can inform the development of targeted interventions and policies to improve RMNCH outcomes for the government.
