Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme 2023
AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena is a post-metric scholarship scheme for qualifying students who fall under the SC, ST, BC, EBC (except Kapu), Kapu, Minority, and Differently Abled categories.
The scheme executes on a saturation basis therefore it will qualify the maximum number of students.
This program’s mission is to guarantee that students from underprivileged communities receive financial aid so they can pursue higher education and meet their academic objectives.
The scholarship disbursal is divided into two schemes.
#1: JCD RTF: Reimburse Tuition Fee
- It aims to reimburse the full fee (Tuition Fee, Special Fees, Other Fees & Exam Fees) fixed by competent authorities to every eligible student.
- The government will directly transfer the beneficiary scholarship amount to the student’s college bank account.
#2: JVD MTF For Mess and Hostel
- It provides financial assistance for food and hostel expenses.
- Under this scheme,
- Rs.10,000/- per person ITI students,
- Rs.15,000/- per person to Polytechnic students,
- Rs.20,000/- per person for other Degrees and above courses
- The government DBT the amount to students’ mother account.
- If the mother is absent then the scheme will credit the amount to the guardian’s bank account

The government provides four equal instalments at the end of the quarter of the financial year. The financial quarters are:

- Q2 – July-September.
- Q3 – October-December.

The following are the main details of students who may use the Schemes:
Student Eligibility
- Students attending Polytechnic, ITI, and degree-level and above degrees are eligible for the Schemes.
- These courses must be offered by public, nonprofit, or for-profit colleges that are connected to state universities or boards.
- Both day scholars and residents of Department Attached Hostels (DAH) and College Attached Hostels (CAH) are covered by the Schemes.
- Scholarships are only available to students who have a cumulative attendance rate of 75%.
Student In-eligibility
- Students enrolled in private or unrecognized universities are ineligible to use the programmes.
- The programmes are not available to students enrolled in correspondence or distance learning courses.
- Additionally, students admitted through the Management/Spot Quota are not qualified to use the programmes.
Income Eligibility
- The annual income of the entire family must be less than or equivalent to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
- The family’s total land ownership should be fewer than 10 acres of wetland, 25 acres of dry land, or a combined 25 acres of wet and dry land.
- No family member should be a government employee or retiree.
- However, regardless of pay or recruiting, all sanitary personnel are eligible.
- Four-wheelers should not be owned by any family members. Taxis, tractors, and cars are exempt, though.
- Families that dwell in urban areas and have less than 1500 Sf of built-up space (residential or commercial) are eligible.
- There shouldn’t be any income taxpayers in the family.

In the latest update, we’re excited to share that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has extended his support towards the education of students in the state by disbursing a total fee reimbursement of Rs. 698.68 crores in the 1st Installment (19 March 2023).
The Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme has successfully benefited 9.86 lakh students enrolled in various professional courses including ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, Engineering, and Medicine during the October to December quarter of 2022.
This move showcases the commitment of the Chief Minister to promoting education and empowering the youth of the state.
How To Apply For Jagananna Vidya Deevena JVD Application Form
Note: The Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme Fresh Application Registration Has Been Closed. Now You Cannot Apply For The Scheme In 2023.
- Download the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (J-SAF) from the website or collect it from the college.
- Fill in the J-SAF form and submit the signed copy to the College Principal.
- The College Principal verifies the details and submits the form online through Jnanabhumi at the time of admission.
- The student receives an SMS confirming the successful submission of the application.
- Visit a Mee Seva Centre and provide Jnanabhumi application ID and Aadhaar number to access the application form online.
- Verify the details and make modifications if necessary.
- Submit the application by giving biometric authentication.
