What is the Amma Vodi Scheme in Andhra Pradesh State
Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy introduced the Jagananna Amma Vodi scheme on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
The government has decided to give financial aid of Rs. 15 thousand per year to mothers for the education of their children until class 12.

Under this scheme, the price of aid will be deposited into the savings account of the mothers every year.
And the scheme helps every mother, irrespective of the number of children, with their education.
Amma Vodi has been providing financial assistance to each mother in Andhra Pradesh state since the Academic Year 2019-20.
The scheme provides education aid to every recognized guardian in the absence of the mother (orphan child) in a BPL household, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion.
Under the scheme, the needy child will be getting aid every year until he completes his intermediate education in the state.
